We seek to reveal to national and legislative issues that have lead to a drastic increase in the price of healthcare. In addition, we look to reveal the underlying issues in our hometown of St. Louis.
Educate

Education and public informance is the first step in making a chnage to a large institution. We hope to educate people on what healthcare inequity is, and how it occurs in the modern world.
Recognizing the deep and expansive issue of healthcare inequity in our society, we have compiled a resource for people to find ways to pay for and acquire essential aid at a more affordable cost, both on the national and local scale
Our Story
We started this project because of Focus Youth Leadership St. Louis, which is a leadership program for juniors in high school. We were instructed to find a topic that interested us that dealt with an issue in Saint Louis that we thought we could possibly make steps toward solving. Unfortunately, the topic we were interested in, healthcare affordability and accessibility in Saint Louis, is too large of an issue for a group of teenagers to fully solve. Nevertheless, we determined what we could do, spread awareness, and provide pre-existing resources, and that’s what this website is for. On this site, you can find first-hand accounts from people we interviewed on their experiences with healthcare accessibility and affordability in Saint Louis. You can also find informative studies we conducted on the data side of the healthcare issue in Saint Louis and in the United States. This website also provides pre existing resources for people in Saint Louis and the United States that will help with the costs of medical care. We hope that the people who use this website get the help they need, learn more about an issue in our community, or get inspired to help. Thank you for visiting our website!
